NOTE: Until further notice, our worship services and Community Cafe will be closed due to GCI Home Office directive regarding the coronavirus and out of concern form the well-being of our community and our members.
We are Grace Communion Nashville (formerly known as Good News Fellowship), a congregation of Grace Communion International . We are a diverse group of people from all over the Metro Nashville area who believe the good news that God the Father has adopted humanity through the incarnation of his Son, Jesus Christ.
We average about 25 to 30 people in worship each Sunday. In that small group we have people who are a variety of races and cultures, ages, and financial means. Some drive many miles from rural areas and some live in the city neighborhood where we gather.
Our worship service each Sunday includes prayer, contemporary music, responsive reading, scripture readings, a sermon, and the celebration of communion. We invite kids of all ages to participate in the music, prayer, and communion of the church. We offer ministry to children under the age of 10 who attend our services by providing age appropriate learning in children’s church during the service, when we have several children in attendance.
After worship each Sunday we eat together with folks from the neighborhood in our Community Cafe. These meals are provided by the efforts of the members of Grace Communion Nashville. Our visitors and neighbors are welcome to join us for our fellowship meal.
CURRENT OUTREACH: During the end of March and on into April, we will be collecting items to be donated to Tom Joy Head Start program, which is located down the street from our building. Due to the loss of another Head Start building during the recent tornados, the attendance at this building was increased significantly. We will be collecting batteries, flashlights, diapers, blankets, and baby clothes on Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings, and will be delivering them to Tom Joy during the week.
