We are Good News Fellowship, a congregation of Grace Communion International. We are a diverse group of people from all over the Metro Nashville area who believe the good news that God the Father has adopted humanity through the incarnation of his Son, Jesus Christ.
We average about 30 people in worship each Sunday. In that small group we have people who are white, black, hispanic, young, old, middle class, and poor. Some drive many miles from rural areas and some live in the city neighborhood where we gather.
Our worship service each Sunday includes prayer, contemporary music, responsive reading, scripture readings, a sermon, and the celebration of communion. We invite kids of all ages to participate in the music, prayer, and communion of the church. We offer ministry to children under the age of 10 who attend our services by providing age appropriate learning in children’s church during the sermon time.
After worship each Sunday we eat together with folks from the neighborhood in our Community Cafe. These meals are provided by the efforts of the members of Good News Fellowship. Our visitors and neighbors are welcome to join us for our fellowship meal.
